I have an old boat, I have left an oil filled rad on for the last 6 winters (on low) never had a problem. Do the same in my van every night when below -1.Wouldn't do the same with other types of heaters though. You can get a small oil filled rad for £20 if not cheaper.
Cheers Andy Ive been wondering about that!Off to buy a heater tomorrow !Do you just have it on frost setting?Cheers Dave

Dont no one sell little heaters what can plug in the ciggerette lighter then when u get to the job everything would be defrosted just a thought lol maybe ill patenet one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
use a aquarium heater rather than a fan heater , advantage you will have warm water for use the next morning , the heat that comes off the water during the night will prevent your hoses & pumps freezeing up .
