I did the pre xmas clean last week for one of my wealthier custys (multi millionaire) after finishing the job she gave me my normal xmas bottles of wine (shes given me 6 bottles for the last 2 years) gave her the invoice and left. checked my bank today (she pays me by bacs through her company) £200.00 extra!!!!!  Phoned her to tell her she had made a mistake and turns out its my tip for going out of my way for her!!
I have been to her house at very short notice in the last year, I even went at nearly midnight during a little soire she was holding to deal with a full bottle of red on the white Brintons! I was getting a little fed up of her "can you come today?" calls , but I wont be complaining again...its nice to know you are appreciated sometimes!!

I read years ago that tipping was good for your personal wealth.

Basically it's a bit like the concept of tithing and what you give out without expectation you get back eventually. I'm still waiting  but I think if you experiment tipping people who deserve it not because it;s the done thing in a particular service then it makes you feel good as well.
