My SL-X really coats my hands in dust.

I just bought some engine laquer, and it's in an aerosol can.

Any tips on how to use this daveshaw?
lightly rub the pole with a fine wet and dry paper just to give a key then spray as normal rub down between coats , i prefer the dipping method where you get a fishermans pole tube and fill it with engine laquer you can get a gallon for less than £20 , you then bung each section of your pole up and dip into the laquer then hang to dry summer time is best for this .
Sorry to drag this up again...
I have been looking at halfords site, I can only see paint lacquer !
could you please tell me where you bought it?
Maybe a web-site I could go to?
No one around here has heard of it!
Thanks in advance :)

Halfords, in my local store it was at the topend of the shelf, in the same isle as the laquers and paints.
