isopropynal

out of curiosity, does isopropynal discolor the water, i mean does it turn blue, or is it still clear when added to the pure water

thanks tomy, reason i asked this question, was because some said it acts as an antifreeze, and antifreez is usualy blue,

Blue ? Thats the methanol- dont drink it  ;) Iso is invisible.

i use just under 1/2 ltr in my 400 ltr tank and never froze , im not saying this is the correct amount .
there will most likely be more than 1/2 ltr in now as each time i fill my tank i add more ipa but theres times when ive still got water in my tank witch will all ready have ipa in it .
