Ive always used my RO system for years. Last few months started just DI'in

Its so much quicker, but obvioulsy you use more resin. (not a great deal in my case)

My tap water is 050, and i can use just Di for ages, with RO i dont have to change the resin for over 12 months, and thats a small Di vessel, just the little 10" one.

So what do you use and why?

If you were paying for water on a meter, does it weigh up to use just DI as you dont waste any water or is it cheaper to RO it?

How and why did you choose your method?

if you are on a water meter with a low reading like yours

you will be much better of DI only

Oh yeh i know that, im not on a water meter, in fact i dont even pay for water, it was a general question to see how you guys get on.

I like Di'in as its instant, but i do always have me trusty RO kicking out the water

i started with a ro then changed to double di my tds is the same as yours i love it ,its far quicker to fill.  half the time i leave the tank empty and fill up at customers taps theres no water metres here so nobody minds and at the end of the day i empty any remaining water out of the tank so its safer to drive.i use around 600litres a day and easily manage on my 250litre tank .another advantage is there is no waste water or worry about frost damaging the expensive ro

In a soft water area about 60-75 TDS depends when i check it.

Use DI only, but i do have a merlin RO for cases when i need to use it, such as doing my family and friends when i go back to see them in hard water areas..

Definatly change over to a twin DI unit system...... Save a lot of water and a lot of money too..........

i am DI only...tap tds 22...... DI unit attached to sacktruck........simple
