thanks for the website. perhaps if i explain what i want to do , you could advise what card i would need!
i want to be able to go to site and clean the windows inside and out, but not as in a builders clean . a last clean before they furnish the properties. hope that makes sense and any advice much apprieciated

I think its a "white card" you want mate for builders cleans

if working from the ground, a standard operators will do. however, and please read this carefully because they will not let you work if you don't get the correct one. if you work at ANY height above or below ground where there is a risk of falling, then you will require a working at heights one, these are more difficult and have a higher pass rate. some sites let you get away with an operators, BUT they MAY throw you off site with a 'red' card if they are part of the scheme. a red card is a total site ban with members of the scheme. best off getting the right one first time.

whats the right one for window cleaning? even at height? Bit confusing if you are not sure what the right one is..

sorry didn't mean to confuse. the correct one for window cleaners is working at heights if any type of ladder is to be used. but it is more difficult to pass than a standard operator. a standard operator is ok if the site you are working on doesn't need a ladder. but, if you are going to use a mewp / alloy scaff tower / hop up / pop up / tresstle / aircraft ladder or anything that takes your feet off the ground then you need a working at heights.

what i am trying to say is this:-

standard operator is easy to pass and you can try and get away with it or if you are only wfping

the operating at heights is the correct one for window cleaning (as we do tend to need ladders internally) and if you need a cscs in the first place it usually means there will some type of poo on the window that wfp won't budge. so you usually need to get up close and personal to scrape or de-tape.

Yes I believe this is the correct one. As the white card is for your specific industry.

But regs are always changing so check with the training centre.

Explain to them what you will be doing, they will advise you
