Just thought I'd share this bit of good news during this time of economic turmoil . ...  have been performing regular office cleans for a local company for nearly 2 years.  Very easy office to keep clean, although they are a pain when it comses to paying on-time.

Anyhow, got a call from the MD early last week asking for a meeting "to discuss 2009 charges".  Naturally thought that he was gonna be looking to squeeze, so had all my figures lined up to show that we could maintain the current charge but could not reduce (and was willing to forego the work if necessary).

imagine my surprise when he said they were very happy and had factored in a 60% increase in cleaning related charges for next year.  Told me I was underselling the company and it's services.

And on top of that, he introduced me to the top tenant of the building who is also interested . . . quote is in the post on that one!

It put a skip in my step.
