Heres why the semi redundant ( I admit ) was on the roof.
As you know we clean the Tate in St Ives (another plug) but when we were there it was way too winday for the supalite as usual, the wind which blows off Porthmeor beach was horrendous, so out comes the 60 ft extel, one of my lads couldnt be bothered or struggled to thread the pole hose through the gooseneck, so he whippied the hose out and just had it dangling, -by the way he was using a Gardiners g-fit gooseneck, which is an excellent piece of kit.
Hence when it was finished with it was put back in the tube bare, and forgotten about until i noticed there was 2 60 ft hoses in the van, and thought that strange, thats when i knew it had gone.
So to tell the truth the pole was semi redundant , the supalite was first choice aprt from when it was to windy to use, as the excell was a bit heavier, it always coped with a bit more wind so it still had its uses. Also we have plenty of jobs where 2 big poles are needed.
Also Alex I was jealous of you being in the papers last week and didnt want to be left out,
