where the concept thread go?

anyway.. i was about to reply.. so here is my reply.

If suppliers constantly promoted there supplies it would ruin it as a forum, i cant see anything wrong with the odd promotion though.

I think there should be a section dedicated to it. It would be a lot better to know what promotions they are running and have links to their pages - and everyone would know where that forums admin stand on advertising matters.

There are many suppliers on here on one shape or another that post about their products in threads in one way or another.. I for one would find it a lot easier to keep a breast of new products these guys are selling or promotions they are running via a seperate section.

Products such as WCP, George, Lightning, Omnivac and others are always being posted about - if there was a forums section and a single thread explaining about them by the suppliers, it would be easier - if anyone wanted to ask something particular on the product then use that particular thread.

Keep help and advise seperate form the ads/promo's.. make for a more organised mess

This would seem to be a good way of getting rid of the adverts of the main forum and also a good way of shopping around, provided it was policed properly.
Someone will probably come up with a hundred good reasons why not to.
