exel liquid is the best in my opinion. hard to source tho and can only be supplied in 50ltr drums, but the next best thing fairy liquid.

fairy is a good one as specialy if your just starting out, i find the squeegee glides easier than other liquids such as unger

I think 'Squeegee Off' is best.

It is 'low foaming' and not as harsh/sticky on your hands

ive always found fairy too expensive and too suddy!

If i do trad its the cheap shampoo from tescos.. does the job and no excess suds..  ;)

for any trad stuff/indoor cleans ect i use a mixture of this and gg3 , just enough ecover to give good glide, works a treat

well i hardly use the stuff, so i dont see the point of using fairy. I dont use fairy on the dishes anyway, just the cheap stuff, with HOT water. I clean my dishes as soon as they are finished with anyway, so whats the point of fairy? Its mainly for stuck on grime.. i dont get stuck on grime..

i tried sqrrgee off last month and had my first call back in 3 1/2 years i was gutted had to redo the insides of a £40.00 job! thought she was being fussy until i saw the windows in the sunlight... what a mess!! have now gone back to gg3. not really enough bubbles for my liking (thats why i tried sqeegee off ) but at least i know its clear!

maybe i had too much soap in the bucket, but not taking any chances in the future

gg3 for me

Yeah i agree with that, squegee off leaves a proper crap finish, fairy with a drop of gg3 is superb!! every time.

yep gg3 is the best for results, but when i used it regularly i kept getting punters saying "leave them this time there still clean" so i went back to fairy and now i stick quite a bit in so they get dirty quickly. fairy expensive?lol my goodness we are a tight bunch us window cleaners aren't we...lol

i had been using fairy since i started tried a lot of other things in between but never really stuck with them always went back to fairy until i read on here about stardrops, tried it and i would never use anything else its easier on your hands less suds but still enough to see what youve covered more slide less streaks in pure sunshine , its cheaper than anything else as well at only 70p a bottle highly recommended

If i were to do traditional window cleaning full time i would choose fairy.

As i sometimes have the missus with me and does trad downstairs i use squeegie off as it does not leave a film like fairy.
That way if the next time i clean this house and i'm on my own i will just wfp it.

Don't bother with unger liquid the only good thing that has going for it is the nice smell.
