ay up lads been doing tops now with wfp a while now , doing bottoms trad . but not saving any time with changing gear round .should ido bottoms as well wfp, any advice welcome

if cuty's are in i do WFP on top and trad below. But only for some, the fussy ones that like their windows "dry" when your finished.

But if their not in, its WFP all over.

And why wouldn't you? By doing the bottom traditional, your basically saying, wfp isn't good enough, so I'm only doing tops because I don't want to use a ladder.

Totally agree you will save a whole heap of time i used to do it wfp top trad bottom as i only had a small tank once i got a larger van and tank i couldnt believe how much time i saved and how much time i was wasting packing up and getting my trad tools out

i think that too, by doing wfp ups and trads down your basically saying you dont really have any confidence or belief in your system

that sounds good advice tim after all one of the main attractions to wfp was saving time but i am that fast with squeegee, iam not getting done any quicker doing half &half.think iwill go for it all

That usual thing of people not liking their windows left wet. TBH i can see their point. Most custys i tell them it can take 5 mins to 3 hours to dry, but some just dont like it. So its the best of both worlds, best for me not using a ladder and keeping my clients. Some pay rather well so i dont want to lose them.

Its good to keep in with trad ways, cos u never know what might happen.

I changed all from trad to wfp, I lost a few and gained more, trad is a pain in the back side on doms I would say 3/5% are trad on domestic rounds and only because it is quicker, commercial I do both

Anyone want to disagree that using wfp keeps glass cleaner longer?
On that basis by doing trad lowers (which is where most notice how clean or dirty their windows are) they get dirty quicker and keep your monthly cleans going.
Do it all wfp and you'll lose some to longer terms because they aren't getting dirty.

I am not saying at all it is the best way only the way I do it, I dont want to come back to dirty windows each month and I offer the best to customer, not a way to keep them dirty

I do WFP all over except for front doors.
I do have a few small bungalows that I still do trad because explaining WFP to some elderly people is impossible when they are already struggling to remember who you are each time.  Apart from that, the only other job where I trad the ground floor is a job with very leaky frames.  I felt I nearly lost the job but we compromised on upstairs WFP with low flow rate (reduce leaks and for safety) and ground floor trad (due to the leaks).

Then your not really cleaning them properly are you? ps. I haven't had anyone change their schedule.
