just a guess, but based on my predictions, 25k would expect about 14% expenses.

Based on making 13k. 20% expenses.

Everyone's predictions will be way different here, but the reason for the rise if you do less, is because most of the expenses that I encure is fixed, like insurance for instance, licencing, road tax, accountants fee's etc.

My biggest expense of course is petrol for the car, which will rise with the number of customers, so will always be around the same percent against sales.

I should note that I am trad, so WFP users percent will be slightly higher, but have more sales, also live in scotland.

hope that helps

gerard

p.s. if anyone is cheaper, would love to here some advice on lowering costs.

I would also say I am 23 and am going to have higher business insurance for the car than someone that have been driving for a while so mine might be sightly higher due to that.

14% expenses works out at £3,500, thats what I put in for my total vehicle expenses let alone anything else (fuel, depreciation, tax, insurance, mot etc etc)

Off the top of my head, without any attempt to work things out Id imagine it'd be somewhere in the region of 20%.

In my first year of WFP, my expenses weren't a great deal less than my turnover.  However, much of it was done with loans and many of the items were capital ones so they are being spread over several years.  So, as has already been stated, it really does depend what expenses are being referred to.
