cheers

i guess the front is the same as the belingo van, so would take a double passenger seat, as its the same base isnt it ? ? ? ? , thus it would seat 6 ( i wouldnt mind a van/car that will seat 6 and have enough space for a tank in the rear ( or my barrels and cart ), 6 seats would be handy if we take any of my daughters friends out with us

Got one its a 5 seater, 6 maybe an insurance problem. twin side doors are one up on the vans, downside is there is not nuch length in the boot and poor turning circle. Poles are on an internal roof rack.

I thought you had just got a vw caddy.

i have, its a lemon

it broke down on the way home ( the ignition barrel failed, thus the fuel pump solinod shut off, thus no fuel, the RAC sorted that out with a live feed from the battery ), not a issue, a ignition barrel is only 30 quid and i can fit it in a hour or 2

the van had a new clutch, its either not been fitted right or its not the correct clutch for the van, i can use it, but it grinds when going into 3rd and 5th :( ( not much, but enough to know its right happy )

then the first day i use it for work, i hear a banging noise, after a trip to my local VW/Audi guy, its the inner and outer driveshaft joints have gone on the drivers side :(

so to be honest the van isnt worth spending the 700 - 800 quid on the repairs ( which the guy said it would cost )

Sorry i thought you got a new 1,this is why i refuse to buy second hand nowdays.10k or under on the clock and your bound to have at least a year or so manufacturers warranty, some say they can`t afford a new van but when they add up how much they spend on repairs it works out almost the same or cheaper,i know i`ve done both.

hi
i had one for a year good vehicle to double as family car , it is the same as the van , same payload 600 kgs i think , however dont think you can fit double pass. seat , as the berlingo van does not seat 3 up front that is the dispatch , the hand brake is in the way on berlingo.

ive allways done well in used cars / vans, i guess ive been lucky, i guess my luck ran out, i will get most of my money back by sticking it on ebay

We have one as the family car. Pretty good all rounder. I know there is a local taxi company that uses one that has 2 extra seats that are fitted in what is the boot space in ours. I guess they must fold up or are easily removed for when the space is needed.
Do all the good you can, and make as little fuss about it as possible.

Hi
Berlingo Multispace doesn't have the same payload as the van. On the old shape Multispace, ie 2001 it was 450kg. Not sure what facelift model payload was. Cant comment on new Berlingo Multispace.
