90% of my work is within 1mile the rest is under 2miles. I pop home for lunch, and change the empty barrels for full ones.

where in manchester are you kris?? i got a round in manchester which is about 6 mile from my home, and one in cheshire, about 15 miles away...

It isnt worth working in my area as i know for a fact you cant get the rates, what makes me laugh though is that the guy who does my street is travelling from bolton somewhere to do it about (15-20 miles!!)
there are ALOT of wc's in the area i live in but all are cig in mouth, using dirty rag cleaners, so the hourly rates are pathetic, never seen a wfp on residential yet in my area, seen some lads on commercial near me last week with dirty rags, small mop bucket and wooden ladders doing above a porch Thought about going in and having a chat with the management there about health and safety but they obviously aint bothered...

If for example you travel outward 10 miles that would mean you potentially cover 100 square miles (10x10 = 100)

So 625 would be 25 miles outward, potentially covering 625 square miles.

Not true.  Area of a circle = pi r squared.  If out go out 10 miles the area covered would be 10x10x3.142 = 314.2 sq miles

A radius of 25 miles would give you 1,963.75 sq miles
