Now nobody likes a show off, but if you're cleaning some domestic windows and there is another trade window cleaner who is watchin' you clean    ... Do you diliberately go as fast as you can to show how quick you can clean windows with WFP   

This happened to me some time back, There was 4 trad window cleaners all working doing a good job, And when I saw them I delibrately went faster then I normally do, Just to show them I could beat them   

I did 4 houses to there 1 pub. - There was me and my works partner to there 4.
Sad I know, but be honest do you get a buzz knowing that the trad cleaner sees how fast you can be

To be honest. I dont find WFP that much faster on an average house
 
Some windows which have the crap glass (u know which ones) seem to take forever to rinse, where as trad I was alot faster on these type of glass.

yep must say I do but when I was 100% trad I'd go faster if I saw another wc. Me and my missus normally race each other though, it makes the day go faster.

Is it because the last thing you want is to get into a race with trad cleaners as they will likely try to beat you and injure themselves

Not at all, I really do not care what they do to be honest, there choice if they like the risk, I did it for to many years now prefer feet on floor

good question, it pays a lot more than window cleaning, and the jobs are few and far between is my answer, but this service is stopping also. Gutter clearing will done with a vac.

I do not like ladder work anymore and have good reason, I am not knocking trad cleaners as I did this myself for quite a few years, but the tools are there now so I do not have to do this day in day out.

Years ago I worked at Kodak in Harrow in a building with wide window sills. Boy you should have seen the window cleaners showing off to the girls in the offices. They used to walk round the building from sill to sill on the second floor.
