when taking the vivaro apart to paint it, i took the achor point screws out, and couldnt beleive how short they were, like an inch, no way would i ratchet a tank down to them with them

Before deciding to use factory supplied anchor points, it would be worth asking the manufacturer what they are rated to.  Some van makes have very sturdy structurally mounted points and others, as you've found out, do not.

now thats what i call a good job, taking screws out to paint the floor! i bodged mine and painted right over them!!
