I clean a lot of holiday homes in  my area, and meet the guests staying there - not many are having the holiday there expected.

Yesterday as I was driving out of Padstow there was a queue that must have been approaching a mile long just to get into the town  :o

As the beaches are too wet or windy to spend the day on, folks are flocking to the towns for anything to do - makes driving on the lanes a nightmare, but then you can't blame them :-\

Business's at the beaches must be having a hard time, as they need this period to make there living.

We normally spend most summer evenings at the beach - this year we've not be inspired to spend the evening down there once !!!!!! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Sounds to me like you either need new water-proofs, or you need to do the zip up  ;D

I tried again this afternoon - what a joke - felt a right plonker squirting windows in the pouring rain. Felt even worse knocking the door and asking for money.  :-\

Well it cleared up here  - sun came out, winds dropped ( a bit) and managed to get out and get some windows cleaned, and a new customer too ;D

A complete contrast to this morning.

Good effort for getting in those gales and showers Dave.......... ;D

The thing is that they need to clean thier caravans out now and then so this is a good opportunity to do thier chores.  I don't worry about them myself, they'll come back next year.
