Hi lads,

been using WFP for around three months now and feel am finally getting the hang of it.

My only concern is the fact that the back doors of my van (Renalut Kangoo) are left open to allow the hose.

Would fitting a hatch be a better idea? Where would be best and roughly cost?

A few pals suggested simply using a core cutter on the floor of the van, but am not sure how that would go at the next MOT.

Any advice, pictures etc, much appreciated.

No, sorry, some guys on here use this, they also use the sytem as that but make their own. Can you not close your vans back doors on the microbore, I know a few just do that too with no negative consequences.

yes shut doors on hose sum times on micrw ,sum times lift real out  & shut on 1/2 hose

you drill holes though the floor and attach that i guess under the bumper

you might aswell just drill 1 hole ( paint around the hole and the edge to stop rotting ) fit some rubber section over the cut edge ( to stop it wearing down your hose )

you could fit a caravan locker door

the top 1 would be big enough, this does involve cutting a hole in your van though, then the bit you cut out, you have to cut again and it fits in the gap, so its all nice and colour coded, personally i would go down this route, fit it on the rear door, as a rear door inst that expensive if the next owner wants to fit a new door, on this note, i would take off the number plate and fit it where that is, then just fit the numer plate else where ( its only 2 screws to hide ) then when you sell, whack the number plate over the door and its hidden well enough

connect it under rear bumper with a cable tie
put your hoselock connector on - bobs your uncle

that idea with the number plate, how about making some sort of hing on the number plate so you could lift up the plate and have the ports underneath...how trick would that look!

What's the ruling for a fitment through the floor regarding an mot?

as long as it has no sharp edges protruding out, doesnt go though the chasis

i cut a hole for mine through the back of the wheel arch but it doesnt come out beside the wheel theres like a we tunnel in there all four pipes run down it, berlingo this is kangoo might have it too

Just close the doors on the hose,.. it works no probs!

Dont know if this will help but i have a Dispatch van and what i do is shut the left door then close the right door but only give it a slight push so its only clicks in abit but not 100% closed (if you know what i mean) then press the central locking and its all locked up.
