Here's one for Squeaky
« on: July 31, 2008, 08:52:37 am »
Doing quite a large house yesterday - the customer came out walking round with her lah di da friend and I overheard their conversation:

Friend - "Oh you have them done that way?"
Her - "Yes, but it leaves water dripping everywhere"
Friend - "I don't like what they do now"
Her - "Nor do I, but I don't know who to ask"
Friend - "You just can't get a proper windowcleaner anymore, they're all into this 'kidology'"

Made me laugh!  Neither of them looked around to ask or notice that I used to do this house the "proper way" but had to miss literally half of it because the bedroom windows are set back over a 20' sloping pantile roof!

Egits!

People never like change, they've been indoctrinated as to what a 'proper' window cleaner is. Completely bypassing more important things, like professionalism, reliable, and regular. They get their windows cleaned, what's the big deal. AS long as they are nice and clean, I wouldn't mind how somebody would do it.

There are plenty of people who absolutely love it, and are very impressed, don't let those people get you down.
