Hi, if you go for the freedom trolley it can be also be used to run a van mounted tank, best of both worlds.

Mike,

I honestly prefer the backpack (Shurflo) over any trolley system; and I've used both.

Filling it is not a problem; and it can be easier than changing over barrels; especially if you've ran out of water and have only two windows left to do.  With a backpack you can just put in four litres of water to do the job, but with a trolley you're stuck with a 25 litres to manouvre about.

Mike, we've met, we're local; why don't you give me a visit and I'll show you my system and how I use it; I live in Sedbury, so you'll pass my area anytime you do your Chepstow accounts.

It'll only take an hour and it may save you some 'ard earned cash.

i use a shurflo back pack for the odd custy where it is quicker than reeling out hose, tried a trolley , but did not like it, you can get to places that it is hard for a trolley to get to, steps , through houses ect. mine is allways kaept full in van ,so i can quickly grab it , and use as a 'grab and go'

I have tried a trolley and now have a home made backpack. I will take the backpack any day.

Hi Mike,

I'll send you my phone number now.

I can also put you in touch with a trolley user near where you live (Lydney), and he's a good guy who'd be more than happy to show you how his system works too; though I know the backpack is better!

Don't be too polite to phone also; I'm getting an old hand introducing local window cleaners to the backpack; and all for the cost of a good quality bottle of red wine too (hint hint ;)).  I also get regular phone calls from two window cleaners in your kneck-of-the-woods asking me for a current weather-condition-state; no joke.  Apparantly it can be good in your area, but when they get to Chepstow they find it's 'hissing' down.  So sometimes they phone before they leave!

Compared to the BWCA course price; It's a bargin; and I don't try and flog anything to you either. ;D

Shurflo backpack is what I use. Word of warning though. I have two and both have needed new switches. One under warranty. The other cost £45 odd I think. For me they'd be ideal if they had a single on/off equivalent to setting 2 :)

Brett.

Have you or anybody else used the x-line trolley, is it good as pure freedom trolley?   :)

Ive seen a x-line close up and i was very impressed and i also know somebody that uses one and he has no complaints, with a new trolley coming on the market you are always a bit sceptical.  I must admit i was a bit with the x-line trolley

x-line systems has invested heavily and put a lot of thought into this trolley so yes i would say it is as good as the pure freedom trolley only time will tell, i think if you are buying one you need a few more people who are using one day to day giving you their thoughts.

regards :)

Brett
