Yes I do.
Is it you that rips the bristles out or the manufacturing company, just wondering as I use pencil jets and ideally I'd like more bristles (seen the video and looks like it needs less ripping out).
Is that your plan?
I'd like to order but will wait till you revise, if you do ;D

No bristle-ripping is done by myself!  We have them manufactured as they are.  The next batch we are planning on having a slightly smaller gap around the jet hole.

We do have a single trim version coming out next week which has a far greater density of bristles.

I think the powerful fan jets i have originally came from varitech

We supply the same fan jets, which we can fit to the new brush if required.

In that case i would like to order one , i cant see fan jets on the web site , whwn i call up do i just ask for fan jets or do the jets i want have a specific name?

Just ask for fan jets when you ring the Office, you will be charged extra and they will be fitted.

Alex,

Are the bristles straight or crinkled like the Salmon bush?

Is your Brush lighter then a Salmon?

Does it scrub better then a Salmon brush?

I like the salmon brush due to its weight and the fact that it seams to glide over the glass and it keeps its shape superbly.I have had salmon brushes on my poles for over 2 years with very little wear and the bristles are still holding their shape.

I dont use the salmon on my mini poles as I dont like how it scrubs on the window and the weight is not an issue downstairs, So I use the vikan on my mini poles I just wished the salmon brushes had that same feel of something substanial like the vikan when you put some pressure on the glass.

From the pictures and video I watched your brush seams on par with the salmon in terms of splay of the bristles when putting  pressure on the glass, ie not a lot of resistance like a vikan brush.

Are the bristles longer then a salmon brushs bristles?

Power to your elbow for trying to improve brushes for wfp use.

Mucha respect to you.

Neil

If you like salmon brushes you will find this brush ideal, you`ll end up using it on the short poles aswell. It has every quality of the salmon and the flocked vikan in 1,the bristles are straight.

The bristles are straight mono-filament, micro-variation, dual-trim (single trim version out next week).

The brush is lighter than the Salmon brush (well at least the ones that I have a cross section of)

Does it scrub better, I think so, but then I never really got on with Salmon brushes so most brushes do scrub better in my opinion. (brush taste is quite a personal thing!)

We tried to get a brush that splayed easily but still offered great scrubbing ability from the bristles. Hopefully we have achieved that.

The bristles are slightly longer than the Salmon bristles.

How are you getting on with it NWH? Happy with it?

@ Alex, yea I think you really got an ideal balance between scrubbing power, and splay, ie not too stiff. I'm really starting to like this brush the more I use it.

Very much an individual thing brushes, i had a Salmon brush, a green one with crinkled mono bristles, very dense but really didn't think much of it, it should have had mega scrubbing power but i found a cheap Addis brush with less bristles worked better.

Steve, you can't in any way compare them to a fishing pole. Except that the SL2 is modular.

hi
been using this brush for a few days now, and can quite honestly say this is the best brush  i have ever used- and i have tried a fair few.firstly its scrubbing power is spot on , the double trim part works well , esp. for brush on rinsing , where i find holding lightly, the outer brissels have just the the right amount of stiffness to hold the inner rows of bissels of glass , so no brissels fowl jets when rinsing brush on.
well done alex

Will you be getting you people to do a lightweight sill brush

How about answering this one, Alex?  I've been asking for a lightweight sill brush for a couple of years now, but nobody takes any notice.

Third attempt Steve!  Check your spam maybe?  It's coming from my own email (alex@agardiner.co.uk) not the office email.

I find that the brush stays remarkably clean, even on dirty first cleans. My brush started to get all grey on a bad first clean, second (normal) clean I did, it was white again. Never had a white brush before, so I'm spending a lot of time inspecting the brush.

Doh 'xcuse me Tim but if push comes to shove the SL2 is (in my humble opinion) from a company called Garbolino which make pretty good fishing poles.
Ok so you dont actually use the top 3 or 4 sections of the fishing pole  and after section 6 or so of the gardiner pole they are all parallel, but they are based on a FISHING POLE, albeit chopped and shaped  and reinforced to result in an excellent piece of window cleaning kit. Well done Alex and Co.

All the above should be taken in the context it was written in ;D ??? ::) :P ;D

Time for another Bacardi. LOL

Alex. Thanks for the mail, got  that one, probable reason the new software installed for emails. Shows some and doesn't show others, based on the fairer sex i'd hazard a guess. Your reply is and was appreciated and will be ordering shortly.
