I only put the brush on last night. All those who have ordered them or who wanted to know when they are in are being contacted during the day today.

The new manufacturer has surprised us by supplying them ahead of schedule!

I want one, any chance the connectors y piece can be the same same as the ones I got the other day look 2 small for pole hose I use, it is the standard hose thats on xtels and red vikan brushes

Your name is down on the list! The 'Y' piece connector is 6mm so should fit all standard pole hoses.

The Y piece has two smaller barbs. These are to fit onto the smaller jet hose that attach to our small lightweight jets (this all comes fitted to the brush). The side that then connects your pole hose is standard 6mm.

Yes, you can do whatever you want to it!  There is a decent area around each jet hole that is free of bristles so that you can fit whatever jets/fans/etc you want.

Whilst they haven't been designed for hot water use, they should be fine with water up to about 60-70 degrees.

How does it splay Alex? Have you ever used a Tucker, how would you rate this brush compared to the Tucker? Just as good, or perhaps better?

No troubles with dirt being stuck in the bristles?

How did you get to this design? For instance why a certain amount of bristles per hole, and not more or less? Why those bristles exactly? What are they called?

Are you happy with the weight? How does it feel on a SLX and SL2?

The new company seems to be spot-on, the brush is as designed and ahead of schedule. Next few production runs already booked in.

The brush splays very well, which seems to work well with our light pole range.

I have used a Tucker brush and I think that they are very nice to use. How would I rate it in comparison? Difficult to do because it depends on each individuals likes and dislikes.

I have been using these brushes (in prototype form) now for over a year and they are very good at free-rinsing the dirt away. If you are the type of worker who like to rinse with the brush on the glass then these will do the job very well.

How did we get to this design? Trial and error and seeing what else worked from the brush world. There are some natural limits to things like bristle tuft size etc.

Am I happy with the weight? NO! I want it even lighter!

The brush feels very good used on our range of poles, as it should because it has been designed to complement them.

All in all I am well pleased with it as our first 'own' brush, we are already working on the next brush project.

Thanks for answering those questions, just a little glimpse into how things get into existance.

About the Tucker, do they both splay similarly? Have they got similar cleaning power? Everyone seems to be going on about how great they are, but it's expensive, and a hassle modifying it. If this is just as good, then it's a no brainer.

Unforuntately, money is tight atm, wedding at the end of the year. But I'm already looking forward to using it with my SLX. :)
