Hi,

I usually post over on the window cleaning forum... However, recently I have been researching the contract cleaning market.

How do you guys find contracts?

Do companies come to you because of your advertising? Or, do you approach companies? If you approach them, how do you go about it?

Direct marketing works best in this industry, mail shots, telephone sales and such.  Try to find out the name of the facilities manager and speak or write to them.  If they are not looking for cleaners make sure you get the date the contract is due so you can call them then.  Livery on vehicles is also an excellent marketing tool.
