we have been going now twelve months and operatye on a recommendation only advertising. have around 110 customers now. every now and then one might say not this time, but if its only occasionally does not seem to be a problem. after all at moment money is money. we do pressure washing as well now so that helps while round still building.

I absolutely HATE the not-today people, I instantly drop them which seems to cause them some confusion.

At least thats a problem you dont have with commercial.

And if a cowboy takes them on they deserve each other ...

I've not lost work around anyone I've dropped.

I remember once (or twice) when I first started window cleaning carting a set of ladders, an A-Frame and a bucket of water in the Mid-Summer heat to a customers house only to be told, 'Not this month'.  It really made my wee boil.

Unless there's a good reason for a 'refusal', drop 'em.  Otherwise you'll end up with a customer base full of un-thinking idiots.
