hi just wondering how much room there would be in van when you have a 1000ltr tank in too, as i like to carry 2 machines and brushes , buckets ,tool box, hose reel, hoses et c etc,    was looking at a renault traffic van or equivalent size van, might be best getting special made tank rather than ibc tank as that wont leave me much room.

If you managed the space well and built in maybe a false platform above the ibc you could fit all the equipment in easy

you can have a flat tank drive surgeon and as joe said and get your gear above it,trouble is in an uprite thiink of the balence and weight on your vehicle

Drive Surgeon, if you are looking to up grade get a trailer mounted system. The one we have just bought has a 350 gallon holding tank.

Nissan Navara, trailer is 14ft long 7ft wide and allow 10ft height including chimney, Trailer was built to UK spec, brakes lights etc.
Machine inside is 27 HP Lombardini, 6 gallons per minute, 350 gallon holding tank, reaches temps of 250 degrees with no pressure loss.
Two men can work off the same set-up at the same tme, so a duel system.

Ive got a 400 lt upright tank baffled with steal frame round it,front brace and floor mounts on top and under floor of van and it does affect handling abit but so does pulling a trailer, with a tank in the back as with any heavy equipment make sure you strap it down in case you have a shunt ,I would not like to be in the cab with a loose water tank ripping through the front of the van.

been studying this and measuring stuff up, was looking at a renault traffic van, ( only cos i have a renault kangoo) but the traffic is normal transit size, was looking at getting a 1000 ltr baffled upright tank so i have more room in van at back,  the flat version was a bit awkward and did not give me much room.  but with the upright i wont have much room getting stuff out of side door, prob just to get to tank to put hose in the top actually.  maybe slide my brushes out of side too i suppose,  but with my machine left in back im stull not left with much space really, will have to get racks in side for lances, brushes and hoses i suppose.  not sure whether to have a hose reel permanenty fitted to wind hose in or not, it might be in way as i need to get sand in and out and other stuff.
