Buying Work
«
on:
June 27, 2008, 10:00:59 am »
Hi All,
I am in the process of starting up and have been offered a round.
Can you give me any tips to help me check the work is genuine and that I am paying the right price?
Any help would be much appreciated!!
P.S. anyone looking to sell any work in Leeds - let me know!

First questions are how much does it take per month/bi monthly?
How many custies?
How long has it been maintained?
Is there any records to go with it....George for instance?
I have bought domestic & commercial, and price may also vary for this & also location

If everything else checks out then get an intro to half a dozen custies that
you
choose from the lists at random.
Agree a price subject to:-
Getting the w/c to go round with you on the first clean (but allow for this in the price) or at least call on every custy with you.

The only way to get it where you want it is to canvass.... which takes time to build up... mind you once you get one then you are off, and people will see you working in their area.

That is what i am hoping for - do a good job and then others will want my services.
Will aim to do an hour canvassing each day for the first month or so just to help build it up.

Agree with dale , if you put the groundwork in and do the numbers ( lots of flyer drops and follow up calls ) you will get the work . It is amazing how many people need a wc
