I did exactly the same as that only my van is neater than yours, there is a lot of strain on your wrist doing that all the time more so than reeling in manually.I to have a drill with clutch and it`s still hard work holding the drill.

What happens when the hose tangles, wraps up, locks to plant pot or something you cant see ?

I am not knocking what you are doing just asking a question as this is what would worry me.

My points I asked are vaild ones.

I`ve to used a drill alday but i bet you`ve never used 1 alday in the position in which is required when using it for this purpose,if it was to be sold as an electric reel it would have to be mounted properly and easy to use ie just press a button. The electric rewind reels you can buy are simple to use and are 0% strain on your body.

I am not going to argue about it as I fully understand what you say, it aint good to do allday, but yes I have drilled all day diamond drilling (little bigger than a handheld it is not good for your body but you get used to it.

now a press button startt stop could be a good idea would also need a drag on it for when it loops, twists gets caught etc.

Still no reply to my question discount please let me know.

Everything i say, no matter how simple or how clearly explained is argued with and contradicted. I'm not geting at you ww just saying how i see it.

I've used it for months and i beleve if most normal people had a chance to use it for twenty minutes they would never wind in manually again(hand crank).

There aren't any tangling or looping issues. You don't have to believe me about this, this is just my experience.

You do have to maintain good hose disipline such as walking back to the van with your pole and hose.
