I have just changed over to using Tulsion resin and have used up the first di vessel it did 5000ltrs approx thats with a small 4.6ltr vessel dont know if that is good with a tds of between 25/35 second di is still at 000

jeezo i was expecting that stuff to last for ages. I have 2 x 11ltr tanks and hope to get a goodbit of lif eout of the resin when i start.

25 litres is supposed to last 27000 litres , i divided 25l by your 4.6l comes out at 5, so if you divide 27000 litres x5 it means you should get 5000 litres of pure if it works that way ! so it sounds about right dean but im no pro

You should be getting more, your di vessel is too small. You'll need to slow the flow rate down if your set up is di straight into tank.

By slowing your flow rate down the tds will drop back down

The second DI is 7 litre (i already had the small one so just used it) they are both after the pump i put tap water into the tank then pump then DI
Would you put the DI before the tank so pure goes into the tank would this make any difference?

The only problem with pump-di , is that it puts pressure on the pump. A lot of window cleaners I know have had pump problems with this set up.

The flow rate from pump would though be ok for the small di vessel.

I would expect you to get around 32,000+ litres.

Having said that I was looking at a set up the other day and resin was coming out of the di vessel, have never seen that before as resin should not escape in that amount. So if resin is escaping out of a di vessel then that is money going down the drain.

I have had this set up for the past 2 1/2 years with the same pump and the pump has been fine never had a problem

Is the 32,000 litres for the whole bag of resin?

As for the holiday it was great    although i have never seen so many clothes with gold and silver lame` the Italians have gone overboard with it

On Ebay it is £78 delivered, on my website it is £76 delivered, no vat charged. So a pound cheaper than wcw and more value for your money. There are guys in Central Scotland like yourself were going through a bag a month, they now order from me every 2.5 months. They were using Purolite, and have to agree that wcw is the cheapest place for Purolite.

Thats a little harsh £6.50 I would be on a winner and the best on the market would not sell, Dave has been using it a long time and seems to do ok in business so it cant be that bad, I have heard many stories about it though and only use Dowex myself.

well im back to RO next week 1 bag of resin a year hooah  not the 1 bag a week we did when the van was in
for repair....... 800 .........litres a day 5 days a week 1 bag or resin at 280ppm a week

is dowex bigger in size the bits itself then say mb400 or the same coz bits of resin are gettin through
