My top clamp has started slipping after 6 months of continuous use, I cut a half inch wide strip from a plastic pop bottle and fitted that over the claws, it's OK again now.
I went and bought another two today, £26 odd with my old age discount.

Thats better than an xtel, they start slipping after a few weeks of use!!! I will never buy an xtel again, Luke

I'm going to buy a couple more harris poles tomorrow, and convert one into a 25ft pole and use the other one as a clampless speed pole, then I will post another video to show what quick really is!! I'm still surprised that so many have commented on my speed in the clips, as I was nowhere near full speed!!! I thought everyone went quick with wfp, surely thats one of the benefits of wfp? more speed= more money!!!  8)

I am pleased that I have had lots of favourable comments, and seem to have converted quite a few to become harris pole users!! I hope I have saved some of you a lot of unnecasary expense!

I am still waiting for one of the slx or facelift users to post a video of their pole in action!! Just so that we can all compare a top of the range pole with the super cheap harris, I think that this would be interesting viewing!!  ;)

I didn't use any glue on mine Dave, I simply used a self tapping screw, Dai rivetted his which is probably neater.

I used Jouk's Idea and it worked a treat.

The angle adapter I held over a gas stove and warmed it up, I then screwed it onto the unger adapter let it cool then did it again, I did this 3 times and it created the thread of the unger adapter, I can now screw and unscrew the angle adapter as and when I want.
