How do you remove plant suckers from frames?

Hi all
Just had a customer with newish upvc frames covered with Ivy suckers. Is there ANY way to clean them off?

yes a good cream or solvent cleaner and abit of elbow grease

Many thanks. We carry white scouring pads and all sorts of upvc cleaners. I'll give it a go, but don't like these sort of jobs - more time than you think and can never charge enough!
