« on: May 17, 2008, 05:29:28 pm »
Been looking around one of these Vans, but i thought i would ask you guys who own them what you all think, i have a  52 peugeot expert at the moment , but would prefer something a bit bigger, room, comfort and a little more power.

Cheers.

Gary.

I think it is the gearbox not the engine which is at fault, more precisely the clutch cylinder leaks, i believe, causing problems with clutch judder and iffey gear change, the cylinder is in the gearbox bell housing.

I do occasionally get judder in 2nd gear.

Gazza

Ive got an 07 reg Movano - probably better than any van I have ever driven - and we have 3 others, Transit, Sprinter and Astra.

High top I can stand up in the back - 7 foot head height.

Very comfortable drive - good looking van

Rob ;D

That should not matter too much these days, but having said that after all the money the banks have given/loaned freely over the past ten years seems to be over so it may be more difficult later this year.

which are the best. vivaro/ traffic or primaster...

i have an expert.. and people say there is a difference mechanically between that and the scudo and dispatch.

If you buy a new 1 really push for extras, things are slow at the moment and the sales staff know this. The prices on the screens and in the mags mean nothing these days, shop around for purchase lease or hire,i hate those a-hole salesman.

Gary I did a poll on here about vans , and wfp , you need to work out how much water you are going to use , then get a vauxhaull movano ( I have spent many hours , asking many people ) . Just my opinion , but it will give you a bit of room to expand your tank  ;D . By the way would be good to have a gossip with you seeing as you are local  ;D

lol. good idea .. i have a 650 tank which is mainly for comfort... so i dont have to fill it constantly... having said that i am nearly at full stretch now... so using plenty... hence all my employment questions for the near future.

i dont want to sit sill, nor do i want to do the whole thing myself for the rest of my life... as soon as i can afford i will employ and free myself up to build/split ..build/split

anyway thats a different topic.... i do go on dont i? ;D
