Con roof
« on: May 11, 2008, 08:04:31 pm »
Ive got a con roof to do tomorrow and dont know what brush to use, all my poles have ez connectors so cant hook up to a mains tap, dont want to use the pure water on it and also because im new too this my brushes arent old, shall i get a pole with brush on that has hozelock connectors and hook it straight upto mains, i see one in halfords but think that this wont be any good as its used for car so scrubbing is out the question, is there some where i can purchase this sort of thing thats upto the job

if you have another ez snap connector then make up something that you can use for this.
Look at the photo of my reply to this link. Alex also provides a picture. It is the end of microbore slid into 1/2" hose with a hozelock on the end. Very handy for work like this.

Chris didnt you get your system, from pure freedom?
if you did use the connection you would hook up to you van to the persons tap and go through your hose reel and work as normal, when you have finished the washing re attach to you pure final wash and then rinse and jobs a good'en

Get a length of normal hosepipe with hoselock fitting on and connect to outside tap,if you have a spare crimp a mini-micrbore connecter on the other end of the hosepipe.

Yer my van has hoselocks, sorry ive confused you and sounds like ive gone mad must have heat stroke lol, the pole im going to use is a mates pole which i decided to use after i put post on, but he uses hoselocks so the converter mark put on will now let me use his pole with my hose, i no i could just use a normal reel but cant be bothered to take it off wall in garden.

I meant use your hose reels from your van mate, as far as I know freedom give hoselock connection from van to hose reel, so instead of going to van use someones tap.

You are now giving me heat stroke lol

Lol i no what you ment windowwashers, hoselock on pipe to reel (correct) but on the end of the reel is ez connectors, my mate has a pole and brush he uses for cons he said i could borrow but has hoselock connectors on it so i cant connect to my reel but now i can as i just made one of them conversion things mark showed my and works a treat now. Also got tfr which i used last week but dried so quick due to this heat.
