i may be wrong ;Dbuti think that most places only sell em as part of spare clampor they sell spare leversi just want nuts and plenty of em
thanks jeff but i have tried four local fixings/nut and bolt placesno luckAlex, thanks for help but i have half a dozen spare bolts and leversits the nut i needit is the weakest link
Just thought I'd mention that only Exel in Finland makes these nuts. The fact that it's a reverse thread isn't so important, it's the shape on the back of the plastic nut that has been designed to fit into the bottom of the socket on a universal clamp housing. An ordinary nut would not sit in properly and therefore would not hold in the right position.
jeff thanks for ideas and helpwas trying to avoid buying anymore clamps, bolts or levers when the only bit that needs replacing is the nut more often than owt elseAlex, ever thought about stocking the clamp parts seperately there was a company in peterboro who sold wfp gear and they stocked lots of parts for universal type poles including seperate clamp components but they have now closed
