Yes Steve - compared to figures I was quoted that is VERY VERY good.

I like BT phone Book - they did a good adv for me couple years ago which drew in more enquiries then Thomsons and Yellow Pages.

That's interesting, I've never really considered the BT phone book, mainly because I don't use it myself.

We can only give personal experiances Simon.

What worked for me may not work for someone else different part of country.
Thats clear with Yellow Pages - I consider it a waste (like lots of others) but some think its best thing since sliced bread.

Dread every year about this time because the last 2 or 3 years the bt phone book pester me constantly for about 4 weeks when the book is due.

That peaved off last year spoke to the management and told them to put a block on reps ringing me .

They said they could only apologise and basically could I grin and bare it for the last week or two as basically when the book is due for closure they freelance the workout and all the reps basically do is ring anybody who doesnt show up as having an advert.

Very annoying my phone is always on divert and was getting up to 4 calls a day off them for the last few weeks last year >:( >:( >:(

A risky investment. The problem with directories is that these days they have a patchy performance record but you are comitted to a year.

I think that you can play around with smaller investments these days to see if something works.

What worked for me may not work for someone else different part of country.

That price is good. I will try BT book again this year. Yellow pages wanted me to have double page at £1000 per month! Still laughing!! Particularly as my Yellow Pages book was still in its wrapper when I went to count C/C adverts - what does that tell you??

did a job in january which was one of the new build flats / or appartments as the owners like them to be called, must have been about 20 yellow pages just in side main door,

went back to same custy last week and guess what, yep still their.

Not even bother mentioning to rep.
Spent £1,600 last year but think i will stick to what works best.

Its funny how it varies. I get the vast majority of work from Yellow Pages

I think that is a great price and in my area BT books are on the up, Yellow pages has to big a area round here as it goes right out to Scarborough, but as others have said every area is different.
