go for a decent 'intelligent charger'
I am just about to get one.
currently use a normal car one but it is not always charging to max.

i used a 85 amp leisure battery for about 2 years, i dropped it on my drive and it cracked open
for the past about 3 months ive been using a 44 amp motorbike battery, i charge it every night and its fine

Had to buy a new one while i was out £60 with warrenty £40 without

lidl's had chargers for 10 quid i think they were, they were a while ago, i went in our local 1 for another of the specails they did and they were reduced to 6 quid each ( this was only the week before last, have a look in your local , you might be lucky

Why not just plug into your cig' lighter socket & never have to charge it up?
Why have a seperate battery & charger?
I have 100psi shurflo with varistream, 80m minibore (8mm)
14 months ago my battery finally died after 6 years so i replaced it with the cheapest one i could find, 35 quid from partco, it's only about 50amp. In the 14 months so far not once has it gone flat or failed to start the van.
No mess, no hassle, just plug in & play.
