Customer wants their roof cleaned, it's the full width of the house with the roof face on with a ridge running across the middle so that half of it slopes forwards and half backwards towards the house with a gutter against the house wall. Sounds a bit complicated i know but can't think how to describe it. Anyway any ideas how to clean the part of the roof and finials that back on to the house?

is there access from both the next doors ? if so ask nice and use ladder each side, I have done this in the past, if they say no offer a free clean at the back and add it to the con roof price.

You can hire 'conservatory ladders' from some of the ladder retailers that rest on, and extend up, the front face of the con roof.

Last time I was asking about them, it was about £60 per day.

A conservatory won't get to the back part of it though. You might be able to reach over the top but thats a bit dodgy. How wide is the con?

Yes you will need a conservatory roof ladder and do the opposite side from the ladder

The whole width of a large four bed house (the longest side) with about a metre each side of that to fence panels.

tall steps and pole it from either side, its hardwork though, make sure you price it up well

The best way is from an upstairs window (or several).  You should be able to rest your pole against the wall so it is reachable from a window.  Have it ready plugged in to your hosereel.  You can then go inside the house, up to the most convenient window, reach out and get your pole and away you go

You may need someone to switch on and off for you, and you may need to move from one window to another.

This way you don't have to drag your hose through the house.

Thought of that one too - piddley windows above though, umm not looking forward to it at all, clearing the gutter out would be a laugh too. No wonder they couldn't get a window cleaner before me, no one would touch it with a barge pole, ok with my Superlight though.
