I'm all over at the moment and I drive something different all the time. Some days I go out in the blue focus and others I go out in my sprinter van, some days I have my magnetic signs on, some times I don't. Depends what work I have on.

how do you test a van mounted 4040 ?
I seem to be having some issues at the moment I would like to know how to test if the membrane is dying or not.

I have just tested my membranes i dont no if i did it in order but
the TDS readings from all three were 138, 288, 54 then out of the RO is (52)
thats without the booster pump running or it would be 37 out of the ro.
am sure that was the right connections i was testing off as the water was dripping out not shooting out accross the path like the entry side after pre filters.

Dave what you want to do is take the reading from each membrane the side with the two outlets. If you look at the membrane the side without the big screw cap on it. You will see on each membrane 2 separate outlets, one will be nearer the middle and one will be nearer the outside of the housing. It is the ones nearer the middle you want to take the reading from.

Sorry Dave, but the readings don't make sense, the individual reading would have to be much the same as the overall readings out the 3 membranes at once. And how is the reading out the RO now 54?
What I was telling you to test is the readings from the individual membranes, one at a time.
If you want me to try and explain it on the phone, you can call me on 01506 856390 or 07751 964 450 anytime. Well not in the middle of the night though.

i have read all the three membranes seprate disconnected 1 took test same as the other 2 and thats what readings came back there only 10 between 2of them and 1 high one?
then once i done that i tested the output of the ro it said 54 if i have the booster pump running its about 35 out of the ro because the tds rises.

You would have to have it connected when you take the reading. Take the pipe from the prefilters and put it into one membrane at a time, as you do it have the waste from the membrane going through the restricter, and the take the reading from the product pipe as it is flowing from the waste. Do this with each one.
There is definitely something wrong if the readings coming from the RO without the booster is 54.

OK i will do that,
the restrictor? what actully is that? or do i just need to change the pre filter pipe to each one and take a reading out the other end?
