I don't know what you charge, but I charge £10 minimum, I can clean 3 houses per hour, this includes driving between each job. = £30 per hour.
If the houses are next to each other and the access is easy then 5 houses per hour is possible. = £50 per hour.
I also clean a nursing home, it tates me 2 hours 20 mins and I charge £175 which equals £75 per hour, another is a pub, I charge £55 it take 30 mins. = £109.99 per hour.
All of my jobs are priced accordingly, none of my customers are rich, in fact most live on council estates or houses that cost £125k to £160k.
In every area I work, their are also other cleaners who are working (most of them are cheaper than me), so its not down to me being the only cleaner available, it simply down to me offering a first class service that they are willing and happy to pay for.
As for the pavements being made of gold, well the only thing thats shines in my area, are my customers windows.
