6 Jet Wand

Is it the same as the Greenhorn? For £215.00 delivered to UK it seems like a good deal at half the price.

Any ideas?

Have bought various bits & pieces from xact tools over time.  Always realistically priced, freight charges very reasonable and fast delivery

I am achieving significantly better drying times with the Greenie wand with jets totaling 08 on a high power porty.

Worth a couple of hundred extra IMO and comes with a Green glide which i think HM retail for £100+vat.

The Green horn is set up completely diffent. Extended jets angled in towards the Glide, better solution line and light valve trigger, and the way the 2" tube meets the vac head manifold so that flow back is virtually eliminated, to mention just afew differences.

Dave, the jet set up look very similar to the greenhorn and appear to be angled towards the wand lip/glide in the same way - it says it in the description too. Or am I missing something?

Cheers

Kev,
So it does, sorry about that, didnt have my glasses on when I first looked. I like the fact that its got solid lips, but I would want a glide. I have a 14" four jet wand and struggle to move it without a glide. It is certainly a lot cheaper than some, so might be worth the chance.

Got to say they do look tempting offers, what are the savings like when shipping in from the states after the X,s are added on. I remember posting a thread on hear a few months ago about shipping stuff from over the pond and it pretty much got poo-poo,d,scared me and put me right off persuing it any further.Obviously some of you have done it now so a bit of insight wouldnt go amiss, cheers klinger.

The shipping says $89 to UK which is approx £45. Still works out to approx half price overall, even though the HM Greenhorn etc undoubtably have quality built in - steel is steel at the end of the day.

With this slight compromise on out and out quality (but they may be excellent quality?) I still think it looks a good buy. I just wondered if anyone had bought one and what they were like.

Cheers
