ISOPROPANYL
« on: March 17, 2008, 05:52:15 pm »
Talking to a guy today who adds this to his tank(1 cup full to his 650ltr tank) and says it helps with the static on the windows, and that he doesnt rinse off after.

Anybody heard of or even use this stuff? Water looks milky coming out of pole :o

He reckons he's cut cleaning time down by 25%

   Any info much appreciated.

                                 Callum.

a bit of an over exageration i think.  i use it but you still have to rinse well ,it does help the water sheet better and in my opinion does help to clean easier

Is this the right stuff and is it the stuff that stop the water freezing.

Thats what i was wondering if it mucks up the pure water.
Because its contaminating it.

it doesnt effect the pure water your tds will still be 000 , what it does do is change the surface tension of the water helps the cleaning process and then evaporates.

according to the e-bay site it gets rid of glue etc. will this mean that you cant use it on some leaded windows as they are glued on?

can you put to much in? i bought 500ml bottle off e-bay to try and put about half in my 400lt tank, now iv had a few problems with runs and when it first shoots out the brush it look a bit like washing up water?

tds still 0 so can this be pulling more dirt out the rubbers or what?

cheers joe
