I feel sorry for any window cleaner who gets replaced 'cos of one of these items, but the feedback is pretty good on the item; though there's a couple of whinges... but here's a good one:

delivery of window cleaner was very fast . My windows have never been so clean.

When these 1st came out and were used people found that if you swepted the window to fast then the magnets wouldnt work hense it would fall off the outside window. What they then did was attach the string to it to prevent it from dropping which worked. But the problem is now the string gets caught up as you swipe the window and leaves loads of mess behind.
I dont care what the feedback says they are useless.

I actually recommended these to one of my clients!

He has partially opening skylights 6 storeys up on the top of an apartment block, the only way of cleaning them is to fix one of these on the bottom of the pane and work away with it.

I do know that these items sell very well as I have friend who retails them and they sell like hotcakes! Particularly after SKY TV has done a promotion on them
