Van water meters
« on: March 06, 2008, 07:00:58 pm »
Does anyone here use a water meter in their van to see how much they use per job/day/week?

I was thinking that a water meter on the outlet of my pump box (minds out of the gutter!!!) would be usefull to give an idea of water use.

Cheers
Dave.

I have one on my system and its very useful. I should mention that my system is DI only as I live in a soft water area.

The meter is  good especially when changing resin manufacturers as you can see which one is the most cost effective to use, or if sticking to the same one you know pretty much to the liter when the tds is about to rise. I have been using it recently to test the two vessels in line theory. So it has many uses if your the inquisitive type but its useless if you don't care about facts and figures.

It came from Varitech 01626 830830, to be honest I think it was about £35 but dont quote me on that as I bought a load of other stuff at the time.

That'd do nicely, I've got a similar to the first one. Works good.
