removal of window stickers
«

I am at the moment trying to remove stickers of of newly fitted double glazing windows. This is one of my regular cleaning jobs but recently they have had alot of building work done including the windows being fitted. I have used a pva solvent cleaner that the builder gave me to use but it cleans the plaster off and everything else but not the stickers. Advice please!

tar and glue remover from our supplier.............or brake cleaner from a motorist center works fine but the windows take a lot more work to get em clean if you use the brake cleaner

Wet the area with a cloth then use a window cleaners scrapper(ettore/unger)
then scrape in one direction keeping the blade on the glass at about 30/40 degrees so you dont scratch the glass wiping all the time with the wet cloth remember only in one direction so you dont catch anything under the blade and scratch the glass

Extracta's multi-solvent cleaner is the dogs dangly bits, along with an unger mini scraper and regular new blades.
Scrape off the worst, spray with multi solv, wipe with towel, gone.

Hi
As the other guys say, buy a scraper, cost about £1.99 in a hardware store.
The the residue can be taken off with a scourer and saopy water.
Buff up with window product and kitchen towel.
Regards
