I will probably try to sell it on here around October 2010 when I've finished repaying the loan on it (when it will be nearly 8 years old with 90,000+ miles).  Watch this space

Just looked at the battery in his van, its a car battery and there not designed for constant deep discharge, you won't get 10hrs out of it, and you will be lucky if its any good at all.
