Seems like we're getting more and more peeps saying they earn zillions per week blah blah blah, but really, how common is turning over £300 a day?

now my guess is that "Run of he mill, I turnover lots more than that" will come out on top ;)

you should have added 500 a day, that normally wins, it'll confuse them if you dont  ::)

Definitely not common for traditional. For me this was a once only. And probably (highly likely) a last.

I hate these threads....lets put it this way...

If you do, you wont for long, cos all thse wanna be w/c will be thinking  " if they can do 300 i can easily do 200!!!

Please work it out for yourself and dont put a "poll" on for everyone to exaggerate there earnings, and attract all the wanna be's or the immigrants that everyone is worried will take their work.....be your own fault if they do!!!!  >:(

Well said Mick!

It would be interesting to find out the "average" daily takings of all the forum members... It would be nowhere near £300!

I never talk earnings but one thing I will say is I earn much more than minimum wage.....much more. I dont like to talk money because it can make you look like a bragger to one person and to another....a poorper!  Luke

is that real earnings, or dreamer earnings

as the later would be 572 quid a day, but only if you have a NEW signwritten van, pro installed van system, uniform, carry ID cards, have a PDA with george, never list a mobile phone number, have joined ALL trade outfits, have a " work-safe " certificate, have been on the Ionics course, can eat a "very hot spicey pot noodle", can drink 20 pints of tennants Super lager, can eat the hottest curry your curry house can make, can get home and service the mrs with her best mate all night long

then get up and eat THREE shredded wheat

I agree that these invites to bragg posts are not helpfull and all the usual suspects have posted- bragging about not being braggarts-.

It's another opportunity to knock the hot people- the one's who add interest and value- and are the backbone of the forum. What about the people who brag they only work three days, or only work five hours, or have other higher priorities in life?

Dai,

I think I'm right in saying that your mortgage is paid off; although I know you have a young family.

I'd be MORE than happy to earn that with no mortgage.

Think it is best to keep to oneself your earnings as to some it can come across as bragging , and to ones just starting out can put across unrealistic expectations !  I dont know of any other trade who would post threads about how much they could earn in a day ! Remember the posters in the war years ...."walls have ears "
