Quote from Doug(This day should be much more wide ranging and potentially rewarding  and there will be a chance to compare machines etc in real life situations and also to learn from other real life CC's who maybe have a greater indepth knowledge.)
Thanks Doug, I'm really not bothered about the cost, if the guys who organise these things want to make money that's ok with me, if you don't like that idea then don't go. My question, which you've partly answered is what machines and equipment can we compare, in other words whoever is going needs to list what equipment they are bringing to the event and if they're willing to let people have  a go with it, have i made myself clearer now? For example I could bring Boxxer 427, Titanium wand, Greenglide, RX20, CFR and Drymaster uph tools and a Turbo Hybrid, I could also demonstrate 4 to the door if anyone wants to see it working

Gary

How did you know I was on a diet.

Dave , it's nice of you to compare my effort with a whole day stain removal course but I'm sure the organisers will only give me an hour !

Cheers

Doug

Hi Dave

I'm sure the organisers and delegates, sounds a bit posh,  would like to see this sort of equipment in competition with say a top porty set up, I believe Pete has some ideas on this.

Cheers

Doug

Doug, thats my point.  In an hour under "live" conditions I am sure I will or could learn more from you than at a full days course for the aforementioned £180.

Best, Dave.

Hi all,

Nice to see more interest in the day out. Thanks for the comments and suggestions put forward ;).

Firstly I've noticed the cost of the day being of some concern to a few people.

Me and Pete are not doing this to make money, we obviously have the £6 per head lunch and refreshments cost to cover. As well as numerous hours of phone calls already made, travelling to the venue before the event to inspect layout etc. and our expenses for the event.

Likewise we will insist on at least covering expenses of those contributing to the day.

There has been lots of time gone into this already and will be plenty more before the day. We consider the £35 cost to be very reasonable considering the line-up already and hopefully a few more things to be added.

We are looking to secure the venue and to do so we need a few more names on the list!

All the best,
Jason

Dave thats the spirit :). It would be fantastic if you brought your kit along I'm sure many people will be interested (me included). Will be nice seeing your rx20 do the carpets we've got to clean in super fast time ;D. Would love to have a go too if poss! You mention comparing t/m's. My panther 27 is similar in performance to your 427 so perhaps we can compare them side by side.

Same for me, if anyone wants to have a go with my machine they're more than welcome.

If anyone else wants to bring something along of interest let us know.

All the best,
Jason.

Hi Doug, its been mentioned so many times about porty vs. t/m we thought it may be possible to compare say a high end porty and entry level t/m in a mini contest. Not sure how we could do this still trying to get my head around it.

I was hoping you would represent the porty and I've got someone to cover the t/m ;D:

All the best,
Jason.

Wilbur (the name of my porty) will take you all on! If I lose I will (as a punishment) I will drink 10 pints of stella and make myself really ill.

Hi Robert,

You got one of those? Looks similar to the prowler.

Gonna bring it along?

Hi Robert,

John Kelly is bringing a prowler along to demo which will be good.

Your machine could qualify for the porty v t/m challenge if your up for it ;).

All the best,
Jason.

My Scorpion against the prowler,no problem. Just taken delivery of a four jet wand on a 1.75 bore, running on 2" hose, awesome airflow to water ratio.

Bring it on,  Rob   8) ;D

Sounds like an interesting match! We'll have to think of a format and see if John or Steve Gunn are up for it as he's got a prowler as well.

Nice one for putting yourself forward :).
