Because I am a professional photograph restorer, and have both programs. Occasioanlly I use both, they are part of the same package, the CS2 package. Just incase you were wondering, that ivesons file was a jpeg, so I couldnt just open it up and change the colours I had to re build one in the same way. As you can see the stars positions arent perfect but in another 20 mins I could have had an identical replica of the same colours/text/size etc etc, Luke
after shots of your work in photoshop luke. i like to look at other peoples workLWC has some good work
if your a professional then you should know what the best application is to create a logo?
Quoteif your a professional then you should know what the best application is to create a logo?Yes I do, but Photoshop is adeqaute for what I needed to do and another reason why I used it was because all those blue/orange style gradients are Photoshop only so I couldnt have used them in Illustrator. If your trying to get on my nerves your succeeding!
you can gradient in illustrator as well. all the tools are still the same as photoshop
Here is a very early example of some restoration I did. This pictures is of my dad when he was in the atc. This picture went through a house fire and as you can see is very badly damaged. As I said this is an early example and I didnt employ many of the skills I since learnt but it was on this computer so it was easier to upload onto Picasa! Before:After:My speciality isnt logos, but I'm getting better at them all the time, infact I've been doing quite a few lately, Luke
Quoteyou can gradient in illustrator as well. all the tools are still the same as photoshopI'm not talking about gradients, i'm talking about styles that can be applied to shapes. Heres where I got some of the styles for the ivesons logo:http://dezinerfolio.com/2007/05/06/ultimate-web-20-layer-styles/
