Scaffold Tower Hire
« on: December 04, 2007, 12:24:15 pm »
Hi,

Does anyone know of a decent hire company that could supply a 5m scaffold tower for 1 day to me at a decent rate? I'm based in Farham, Surrey.

Thanks,
Andy

I think there was a discussion on here recently about this, but the price people had been quoted was nearly the same as buying one. Maybe it might be worth a look through the archives Andy.

Andy

Go to hss, explain what you want & ask about having an account or discount card, you get 10% straight away.

By using these you get a fairly decent one if not new, we used other hire & supply company but thee stuff was no where near as good, especially if you're doing insides

Andy, you could also try ceiling tile and internal building products distibrutors, they can normally point you in the right direction.
CCF Reading is probably the closest to you that I know of now :)

Andy, don't use HSS as there prices are ridiculous. they quoted me £135 +vat for the day, try and find a little independant hire shop the guy i use hires 5m at £35+vat per day...its a big difference.

also a little tip. if you need it for 2 days, i get mine on a saturday morning as it don't have to have it back till monday morning all for a single days hire ;)

Nowhere near  Surrey but I have a three drop, quick form scaffold with out riggers that will get you up to about 20 feet. I live in North Wales and it's available for £50 a day (better rates for longer periods). :)
Just like that
