Just look outside and frost is here (north london) just thought my merlins on the patio. what temp is safe for it to stay out there?

You don't want it outside and exposed as if ice forms it can wreck membranes and crack casings.
Mine's on the house wall in an insulated box and I can put a 40w ceramic heater in if it gets too cold.

my thoughts but i have noticed one thing with it i get better results from it when the weathers colder.
