Hi all
Merlin with membranes knackered. Gives TDS of 35, variable.. Drips into holding tank, transfer pump to van. Through DI with fresh resin gives TDS all over the place 0, 35, 110, 35.

Loads of work booked in Monday. New RO arriving Tues.

Anyone know the reason?  Can I use it regardless?

I'll try it out on my windows tomorrow.

a tds reading only tells you how much residue there is in the water but not what it is do you live in a hard water area? i have only been using wfp for 6 mths but live in hard water area anything over 5 ppm can cause me probs depends what is left in water after processing and bottom line is you dont know for sure. A more experienced pole man (marcus norton) told me that anything under 10 ppm was ok but he likes to play safe too

No you should be ok if its no more than 10 for the short term but i would only use it if i have to

Agree with matt on this one, try & get hold of another tds meter.

Have you tried to re-calibrate the tds meter ? May be worth a shot than ordering a new meter straight away and cheaper too.

You will need to purchase a bottle of DI water from Halfords or the like.
